Art Review Night promises a nurturing environment for artists to gain clarity on their work, receive encouragement, and potentially discover new directions for their artistic expressions.

Meet our reviewers:

  • Hanny Ahern is an artist and educator based in Beacon, NY, whose immersive, media-agnostic work reimagines everyday experiences to invite new perspectives. She holds degrees from Bennington College and NYU's ITP program, and has co-founded art spaces, developed youth programs, and served as a guest critic at institutions like Yale, RISD, and Parsons.

  • Allegra Jordan is a Beacon-based painter, sculptor, and curator whose work explores the intersection of desire and fate. As co-director of Super Secret Projects, she curates exhibitions and creates space for artistic connection and experimentation.

  • Diana Vidal is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting, photography, sculpture, and video, exploring themes of time, loss, and presence. As co-director of Super Secret Projects, she curates open calls, organizes group exhibitions, and develops community-focused programming.

We welcome artists from all mediums and at any stage of their artistic journey, emphasizing that the value of feedback and community transcends the specificities of medium or experience level.

This special event is designed to support and elevate the work of 5 - 7 artists through personalized, one-on-one feedback sessions. Scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM on MARCH 31, participating artists are invited to set up their artwork, allowing for an intimate showcase before the review process begins. As the evening unfolds, artists not currently in review have the opportunity to network with their peers, share ideas, and enjoy a selection of light refreshments provided by the organizers.

The core objective of Art Review Night is to furnish artists with constructive, thoughtful feedback on their creative outputs. Whether participants bring finished artworks, pieces in progress, or conceptual ideas awaiting execution, our panel of seasoned artists, curators, art directors, and lecturers is prepared to offer insights that can propel artistic development.
